    Look back at LookEast! III

On April 26, LookEast! arranged the third instalment of our showcase events. This is a look back at the LookEast! III event in April 2025.

This time, we had several interesting acts, and the night ended with the start of Isiliel and The Lilin’s 2025 World Tour.

The other artists featured were Kafai, Sukosi, some great, young K-pop dancers from Hadeland Folkehøyskole and the outstanding Wooli Duo. The audience fell completely silent in awe and amazement when they took to the stage.

The evening provided us with some wonderful, beautiful, amazing, and enjoyable moments.

We already hear rumours that artists are getting more jobs after being part of one of our showcase evenings.

Enjoy this small compilation showing some clips of what the audience experienced on this wonderful spring evening at SubScene in Oslo.

LookEast on tour with Isiliel and The Lilin!

For the last few years, LookEast have been lucky to work with the Japanese artist Isiliel and her Norwegian band The Lilin.

This has now resulted in LookEast joining them on their upcoming EU tour, and Kai Olav from LookEast has now left Norway to join Isiliel and The Lilin on tour.

Kai Olav doing the legendary Himari travel pose

LookEast, and especially Kai Olav, has played a huge part in the last two years development of Isiliel and The Lilin. He will now be assisting them with all kinds of tasks that needs to be done during a tour, so he will be a busy bee.

The Lilin is a result of Kai Olavs connections, and the members were hand picked by him. Not only for their amazing skills on the instruments, but also personalities that would go together with Himari and Ricky.

We’ve also had hands in the making of the last album, and it’s been a joy to work together with all involved.

So if you see Kai Olav running around a venue, going from task to task, say a big HELLO to him and buy him a beer. He deserves it!
